hsg is my favorite homestuck place, though. for all its shitposting and general dumb, i love it. if it weren’t for hsg i would probably have been driven mad by tumblr months ago
it’s like the only reminder i have left that not everyone on the planet is a hypersensitive wet blanket with absolutely no sense of humor
i mean hsg is probably equally as dumb as tumblr in a diametrically opposite direction, but it’s a kind of dumb i can enjoy and laugh at/with instead of sitting in my chair itching with frustration and no ability to engage with any of the things that bother me because people on tumblr don’t really understand rational discourse, just masturbatorily reinforcing their own echo chambers and vehemently and hyperbolically shouting down anyone who dare not tow the party line in its totality
